THE DEAFENING SILENCE

ALBUM REVIEW
The Deafening Silence is Abel Ganz’s fourth album. Released in 1994, the lineup has changed significantly from their prior releases. Only Hugh Carter (bass guitar) remains in the band, although Hew Montgomery still participated in writing the songs. The rest of the group includes Christopher Forsyth (vocals), Robert Wilson (guitar), Stuart Clyde (keyboards, vocals), and Colin Johnson (drums). This is another fairly bland album. Their sound is a bit different, which one would expect given all the personnel changes. The album is certainly not bad, but given the strength of their musical ability, one would hope for more. (RYM)
