Originally released in 1979, this fully strange and orginal album is due tot the meeting of several clever and skilled musicians, coming from jazz, rock and classical music. La Saga de Ragnar Lodbrock is made of texts inspired by the northern myths, and tell the story of the Vikings who came from nowadays Sweden to invade France. As to the music, the sound range is unusual, the mix of classical music, jazz, rock, experimental was the root of a surprising meeting. It is also influenced by medieval music, and the mix of classical and rock instruments may recall Gryphon or Malicorne. Seven bonus tracks are included.
