ALBUM REVIEW
The band : Jacky Sourisseau (keyboards), Jean-Paul Trutet (vocals), Daniel Trutet (guitar/bass), Jean-Marc Proux (drums) got together during the seventies, and realized this only album in 1983. The Trutet brothers contributed then to the first album by Hecenia (in 1989). They carried on since with different musical activities. The album: This reissue includes all of the "Mana perdu…" album, originally released as a self- produced LP in 1983; plus "Ego" recorded in 1987 for the Muséa compilation "Enchantement", and two tracks recorded live during rehearsals; plus an independent recording made after the release of the album. This is all Elohim’s saga. The band was often compared with ANGE, for the theatrical singing, but the assumed influences are to be found with the renowned band ATOLL, especially the "Tertio" album. Very melodious and sensitive, these sophisticated pieces, with exquisite sound effects ans superb vocals, deserve a wide recognition, impossible to obtain in 1983, but not now…
