Polish band ANKH plays a sort of hard rock mixtured with classical music and some folk elements, where the violin is an essential part. Along the cd, you can hear a rough rock theme and, suddenly, a beautiful classic melody or a folky violin lead song. Overall, good melodies, originality and lots of energy becomes "Ziema I Slonce" in a very interesting stuff, recommended for those who enjoy the rustic side of prog rock. (progarchives.com)
