ALBUM REVIEW
Single known release of Damon Lewis Shulman, son of one of the members of Gentle Giant. An interesting album but musically not very interesting to fan of melodic progressive rock. It might be interesting though for people interested in the more complex kinds of this type of music and then mostly the jazzy and freaky side of it. Someone that comes to mind (and to whom this album has been dedicated) is Frank Zappa. Though the influences of Mr. Shulman are more easily heard, he is a bit less mature, the freakiness of some of his recordings might be due to a love for Mr. Zappa. I was also able to draw parallels with the peculiar side of a band like 10cc. They also worked some strange ideas into their songs, while keeping the songs themselves sounding accessible.
