Originating from Nancy (Lorraine), Olivier FRECHE is known to have been a member of JADE, whose music varies between jazz, KING CRIMSON-like Progressive rock and ethnic musics. With the help of several guests (String section, double-bass, drums, tablas, saxophone...), among whom Rémi CHAUDAGNE, our man plays all the guitar parts and sings the few vocal parts (In English) plus most of the other instruments. The ten pieces are mostly instrumental, such as the somptuous cover of a piano theme of RACHMANINOV as an ouverture. Numerous sound effects weave strange, sometimes dark and oppressive atmospheres. This music is alternatively symphonic and grandiose, heavy and disturbing, electro, indus, ethnic, hypnotic... It sometimes reminds of the great KING CRIMSON, with a marked preference for electronic experimentations of the recent period, with no vocal part.
