ALBUM REVIEW
David ROSE is an american born violonist who emerged from Transit Express, Yves Simon’s band in the mid-seventies. He released seven album with his band from 1977 to 1983.This is an unreleased live recording with a good sound, engineered between Rose’s first and second album, with a musical “dream team”: Serge Perathoner (keyboards), Gerard Prevost (bass), Claude Salmieri (drums), Gerard Kurdjian (percussions). They create and offer a beautiful Jazz Rock music, suggestive, lyrical, with sensual violin sounds, somewhere between Brand X and classical composers like Debussy or Bartok. Full of energy and worked out, surprising and innovative, here is a beautiful testimony of the seventies musical underground.
