Jimmy is the brother of drummer Morgan Agren (Mats/Morgan) and he is a slide guitarist with a heavily Beefheartian flair. The ghosts of Zoot
Horn Rollo and Jeff Cotton hang heavy upon his soul! On this record he plays guitar, bass and drums (all extremely well!) and is joined by
guests on vocals and Mats on keyboards on a couple of tracks. Again, this is very Beefheartian, although more bluesy; like if the Magic Band were playing the Mallard songbook. There's not a lot of guitarists out there who sound like this, so if you like that sound....! (Wayside)
