On their last studio album from 1970, BLUE CHEER had mellowed out considerably with the further involvement of ex-Kak guitarist Gary Yoder. 'Oh! Pleasant Hope' is an extremely cool album of West Coast styled melodic psych/rock, which had a fine groove all its own, including experiments with Indian instruments. It's almost Kak's second album!... Now housed by Akarma in a mini-card LP sleeve! (Freak Emporium)
