Two fine early Seventies albums from the Canned Heat guitarist. They contain a wide variety of styles, with MANDEL's bluesy guitar work to the fore, but generally a funky, psychy jazzy sound backed up with orchestration creates at times, an atmosphere similar to David Axelrods more electric work.
