Coming from a diverse set of musical backgrounds, the members of this '60s Berkeley band brought together blues, jazz, folk and country influences. Together with the influence of Country Joe and The Fish and the production of Sam Charters, this debut album mixed up a heady brew of psychedelia and social commentary much in the same vein as CJ Fishes first two albums.
