ALBUM REVIEW
Led by Spencer Perskin, Shiva's Headband were well known on the 60s SF psychedelic scene for their strong live shows, scoring a Capitol Records deal in 1969. Returning to their home of Austin, TX during the 70s and beyond, the band released several albums and singles. Psychedelic Yesterdays was recorded at McAdams studio in Austin in 1977 and originally released on the Austin-based Ape label." Doesn't appear to include the 1968 45 single 'Kaleidescoptic / Song for Peace' (as advertised by the label), but does include the bonus tracks: "Mr. Butts" & "Insanity". (Forced Exposure)
