Gustavo Jobim is the youngest electronic musician to record an album in Brazil, having done that with only 19 years of age. Among his musical preferences are the orchestral music from all times, and also Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, the Hungarian band Solaris, the Brazilian composer Hermeto Pascoal, Mike Oldfield, Nine Inch Nails and Änglagård. The strongest references in "Round Mi", though, are the works of Klaus Schulze and Philip Glass, who are obviously two of his most important "teachers".
