ALBUM REVIEW
It’s not often in this day and age that someone can make a career in the music industry that spans over three decades and yet still come up with an album that smells of teenage spirit! Enter Pendragon, a band who have continually gone against the grain and shocked people by their sheer tenacity. This time Pendragon have made an album full of attitude and yet retained all the subtleties of their now well known progressive heritage. Believe brings in a harder more modern rock edge to the sound on the one hand but on the other, seduces the listener with some passages of delicate classical guitar, and orchestral string arrangements that would make Mahler weep! The cover artwork is once again a Simon Williams creation but this time with a much darker hard hitting affair, the Cd booklet will contain bigger versions of the tattooed man with many extra illustrations thrown in.
