ALBUM REVIEW
SETI is a side-project of the musicians of SUBTERRA, led by the keyboardist-bassist Claudio MOMBERG. Its name is taken from the famous NASA program: Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence. "Life Forms" (2005), a first album sounding like a revelation and jointly released by the Musea and Mylodon labels. Long tracks are included, with deliberate slow and atmospheric tempos, in the vein of PINK FLOYD or PULSAR. In three tracks among eight of them, the voice of Jaime SCALPELLO may remind that of Stephen GEYSENS (VISIBLE WIND). Also noteworthy is the 17 minute long suite that concludes this major opus.
