“Bandages” was the band’s first release upon departing EMI’s Harvest label (for whom they recorded five seminal albums and two UK top forty singles of the late psychedelic/early progressive era) and was a strong and highly regarded work featuring a guest appearance by Mike Oldfield. “Bandages” enjoyed a fleeting appearance on CD fourteen years ago, but has been unavailable in any form for over a decade. The Edgar Broughton Band has been described as “proto-punk”, “heavy rock” and “underground” throughout their career.
