ALBUM REVIEW
Underground Swedish psych act related with Pärson Sound, Harvester and later with Träd Gräs och Stenar. The leader of all those outfits is Bo Anders Persson who - as taken from an article by Sandra Barrett – “was inspired by the repetitive and sparse nature of works by Terry Riley, but sought a more folkloric and communicative style to coincide with the idyllic hippie lifestyle of the era. The result was the intelligent psychedelia of his band”. Sov Gott Rose-Marie was originally released in 1969 as a double LP album in Finland on the Love Records label (the same label of bands and artists such as Wigwam, Jukka Gustavson, Pekka Pohjola, Tabula Rasa, Finnforest, etc.). The album only saw a Swedish release in 1984, when Silence Records decided to reissue it and later in 2001 on CD, too. The CD reissue also includes a bonus track, "Skördetider", which comes from the same sessions.
