ALBUM REVIEW
"Apocalypse" is the first studio album by a young japanese band, after two demos released last year by the Poseidon label. FREE LOVE is a mainly instrumental quartet (Keyboards, guitar, bass & drums) whose music could be described as "heavy psychedelic Progressive rock". Influenced by LED ZEPPELIN (The album includes a surprising cover version of the famous track "Kashmir"), DEEP PURPLE (Especially the organ parts) and URIAH HEEP, FREE LOVE also shows the musicians' virtuosity through hypnotic rythms and riffs, wild organ, synthetizers or guitar soli. And the rhythm section, plus some guitar riffs, is definitely hotter than hell. It's a wild music, full of power and "spacy" atmospheres. (Musea)
