The compositions and improvisations here presented by C.A.D. deal with the so-called “incidental music”: for instance music for theatre, interaction with text, or with art exhibitions, music for screen. Another characteristic of this research is improvisation, which is the guiding force behind any composition, even though some parts of it would appear more structured: starting with a general theme, the player may have a large scope for free interpretation and in this way become co-author of the piece.
