ALBUM REVIEW
This is a strange album, to say the least. It helps to understand that by the time this was recorded (12/69), Farren was indeed a substantially damaged individual, hanging out with similar and like-minded rogues such as Steve Took, Syd Barrett, and Twink. The resulting album is a bizarre collection of finished songs, unfinished snippets, and short non-segueters which are primarily experimental in nature. The finished cuts tend to have a punk flavor to them, in a similar vein as The Deviants stuff he used to do, whereas some of the unfinished mat'l seems demo in nature, at times, trying to make something out of a raw idea that really doesn't go anywhere.
