Stray Dog with guitarist Snuffy Walden were recruited for Emerson, Lake & Palmer's famous Manticore Records label, but didn't benefit from this fact. They never made it, although they were not a bad band. "Junkyard Angel" is pure nice boogie rock, "Words to Say Goodbye" and "Very Well" have a touch of the Average White Band, "Dreams & Junk" comes along as a Styx-like ballad, and the last track "Worldwinds" (7:14) is a great progressive rock instrumental.
