Progressive rock that stays pretty much in the blues realm with some jazzy touches here and there. The vibe that the album emits is one of a bunch of dudes getting together in the studio, smoking some joints, pushing record and seeing what happens. What happens is about what you would expect with these musicians, especially Peter Green, who let's loose and is never less than good here. The songs themselves seem pretty loosely structured and if you approach the album with the knowledge that it's not one of those months in the studio lp's then there will be plenty to enjoy.
