Released the same year as "Church of Hawkwind" (1982), "Choose your masques" features a more standard Hawkwind sound and idiosyncrasy, with 9 well-balanced tracks; having its highest points in the opener 'Choose your masques/Dreamworker' (actually a sort of two tracks stuck together), a new version of 'Silver machine' (without the Lemmy's voice still sounds great), 'Arrival in Utopia' and 'Waiting for tomorrow'.
