ALBUM REVIEW
Formed at the height of the British blues rock boom of the late 60's, and featuring ex-Misunderstood guitarist Glenn Campbell (not the Wichita Lineman) on steel guitar, these guys quickly mutated into a commercial boogie blues band in much the same manor as Status Quo, though nowhere near as successfully. Most of the mat'l on this debut is pretty good, yet lacking in any particular quality which might propel it to a high level. Blues enthusiasts will probably appreciate this the most, but to many rock fans, they're little more than also-rans. (tymeshifter - Rate Your Music)
