ALBUM REVIEW
Court are one of the most original italian prog bands of the 90's. After a silence of five years long, they are now back with their fourth studio album and a new singer. All the tracks, with the exception of Anastasius Epitaph (originally recorded with the old singer) and the instrumental The Great Bear Rising, are covers of some old compositions of the band. They had almost ended the recordings when Frost of Watermelon was realized, but the departure of the singer Lucchina required the remake of the vocals by the new singer Marco Pedrini. Fully revised and, sometimes, completely rewritten those old songs are always brilliant, led by guitars, with flute interventions and evocative vocals. Also the keyboards parts have been rearranged acquiring a new leading role in their music. Two long suites with Genesis and Marillion influences make this CD a must!
