N.B.
Generalmente i lettori/masterizzatori dvd per Pc sono
privi di codice regionale, per cui leggono ogni formato attualmente in
commercio (fare riferimento al proprio modello). I lettori dvd da
tavolo al
contrario non sono quasi mai privi di codice regionale per cui
è utile fare
riferimento al proprio libretto di istruzioni dove è
specificata l’area
(region) di appartenenza.
Mono = Audio
monofonico / 2.0 = Audio stereofonico / 5.1 =
Audio codificato per i cinque canali + subwoofer.
DS = Audio
stereofonico codificato Dolby / DD = Audio
codificato Dolby Digital / DTS = Audio codificato Direct Stream Digital.
N.B. Sia
l’audio DD che
DTS necessitano di un convertitore dedicato,
interno al lettore dvd
o all’amplificatore (ed ovviamente il numero sufficiente di
diffusori) per
poter essere correttamente riprodotto. In caso contrario si
ascolterà il semplice
audio stereo o mono a seconda dei casi.
Pal
= european video system /
NTSC = american video system (it needs ntsc/pal conversion by your dvd
player
or your Tvc).
Region
0 = Dvd suitable for
any kind of dvd player / Region 1 = Dvd not suitable for european dvd
players /
Region 2 = Dvd suitable for european dvd players.
Personal
computer dvd players
are generally code free, so they can play any kind of dvd on the market
(refer
to your own player model). Table dvd players are on the contrary almost
always
no code free, so can be helpful to refer to the dvd player owners
manual to
know the belonging area (region).
Mono
= Monophonic audio / 2.0
– Stereophonic audio / 5.1 = Five channels + subwoofer
codified audio
DS
= Dolby codified
stereophonic audio / DD = Dolby Digital codified audio / DTS = Direct
Stream
Digital codified audio
Both DD and DTS codifying need
a specific converter (it has to be available on your dvd player or your
amp)
and the 5.1 loudspeakers setup, otherwise you will obtain a normal
stereophonic
or mono audio

A superbly presented DVD bootleg, which has DVD quality video and audio
and is therefor essential for even the most casual of P Tree fans,
especially taking into account the numerous camera angles and
close-ups. The idea behind this unauthorised fan release was
to promote the bands official DVD release due out later in 2006, and
does an excellent job of portraying the live experience.
There are actually two different versions of the DVD - both are
broadcast from the same source although one version has a couple of
short mid-set interviews cut out which is a shame. The band
also played around three tracks that weren’t broadcast and so
aren't included on this disk, although all the projected videos and
full on lighting show sure is. The official release has a lot
to live up to because this set, ripped from TV is quite amazing and
capture Wilson in his most spaced out euphoria. (J.Bevis)
