Solstice celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2010, and what better way to celebrate than to release a new CD! Thirteen years after the band's last studio CD, Solstice release 'Spirit', already being described as their best release to date. The band, consisting of leader Andy Glass (guitar & vocals), Emma Brown (vocals), Jenny Newman (violin), Robin Phillips (bass) and Steve McDaniel (keyboards), have produced an album of melody, emotion, and power, highlighting all of the trademarks of the band ? the driving guitar, soaring violins and driving rhythm with melodic keyboards. This release also includes a bonus DVD (NTSC Region 0) featuring an entire live performance filmed in 2009, with a set list including such classics as Morning Light, Cheyenne, and Brave New World, as well as many new tracks from ?Spirit?.
