A CHILD AND A WELL
MUSICA FICTA
2005, ISRAEL - EURO 13.00
ALBUM REVIEW
Musica Ficta, guided by guitarist and composer Udi Horev and established in Jerusalem in 2003, is a clear example of what could mean a true reference to the past, in particular the English rock scene from the 70s, and at the same time a really fresh creativity. Here you can find echoes of Jethro Tull, but not only – a bit of ELP and King Crimson, among others. These six musicians come from classical, rock, folk, jazz: the result is a coherent sound with a really high technical level, from powerful rock songs to delicate acoustic textures. |
