ALBUM REVIEW
After having released two self-financed albums, the British neo-proggers Also Eden are now under contract with Festival Music and this Think Of The Children!, a concept album, is the first studio album for their new employer. I have to be honest: it's the first time that I listen to the output of this five piece, but their brand of neo-prog sounds quite pleasing to my ears. Of course there are influences from the classic prog bands from the glorious 70s, but I can also hear some shreds from a band like Porcupine Tree, to name only one more recent act. I always listen to prog albums by means of headphones and with the booklet with lyrics in my hand and I can only admit that lyricist & vocalist Rich Harding has a lot of talent. Musically there's also enough light and shade, so that I can give these guys and their album the thumbs up. (RockReport)
